The commitment of North Central Orthopedics physical therapy is to help our patients recover from injury or surgery and reach their optimal health and performance through the most current rehabilitation methods available. Our goal is not only to treat the debilitating aspects of each condition but also to educate our patients, allowing them to engage and take responsibility for their own treatment and care.
Orthopedic physical therapy is a health care profession based in the science of motion. Patients who have suffered injury or disease affecting the muscles, bones, ligaments, and/or tendons will benefit most from evaluation and treatment by a physical therapist who specializes in orthopedics.
North Central Orthopedics rehabilitation department is a spacious facility filled with first rate equipment and exceptional staff. Our rehabilitation department is currently staffed by three physical therapists, one occupational therapist, and two physical therapy assistants. Each member of the rehabilitation team attends annual continuing education courses, to keep abreast of recent advances in the field.
A thorough evaluation is completed on each patient and a comprehensive individual treatment program is implemented. Importantly, we have daily contact with your physician, and this allows us to provide you with prompt feedback to your post-operative questions and concerns. Often, we are able to facilitate back-to-back therapy and physician follow-up appointments, allowing you to minimize time away from work or home.
Therapy appointments are available before and after work.
The ultimate goal of North Central Orthopedics physical therapy department is to return you to optimal function, and allow you to resume normal activities as quickly and safely as possible.
